How can we help each other?
Within the British Army the Royal Corps of Signals are at the forefront of modern digital military communications and information systems technology. We are made up of over 7500 technically minded officers and soldiers many of whom in addition to their command and leadership skills also hold associated engineering, communications or managerial qualifications.
As with any large organisation, the Royal Signals turnover personnel each year either through completion of the normal military engagement or through early termination of service in order to pursue a longer second career in civilian life. Those leaving will all have given outstanding service to the nation, working under pressure in demanding environments and in doing so developed a unique and valuable skill set sometimes overlooked by civilian employers.
In addition to the usual turnover of personnel, the Army are currently undergoing a 5 year programme of redundancies which will see an additional pool of Royal Signals personnel available for employment by the civilian sector.
